J.D. Roberson Benfit Update

Greetings!

See information below for updates on the benefit for J.D. Roberson (Amber Roberson's father) to be held on March 5, 2011 at Pelican Junction in Baytown, TX.

J.D. Roberson, a 52 year old Harley enthusiast, was in a major motorcycle accident by an uninsured motorist. His right hand was shattered and they had to amputate his right leg. He had already had his left leg amputated from a work related accident over 34 years ago. During the 7+ surgeries to amputate and debreed his right leg and repair his right hand he developed an illius in the colon. They had to perform an emergency colostomy. He is coping very well with the amputations and has received two new prosthetics and is successfully going to physical therapy. He was able to walk about 10 feet with a walker before Christmas! He is still having a very tough time with the colostomy and our goal is to raise the $15,000 needed for the colostomy reversal. Thank you for your support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
