Buy an iPhone at WalMart

Wal-Mart began selling the iPhone yesterday. It is the second independent retailer to sell it, after Best Buy. The phone is priced $2.00 less than at AT&T or the Apple Store. Best Buy discounts the iPhone $9.00... But I am still using the Treo 680... I still need the Treo to access the Supra Lock Boxes...

What do you use??? and Why???

I use a Verizon 6800, a typical smartphone.  I bought it and use it for basically the same reason to open Supra Lockboxes.  I bought this one because it runs on a Windows operating system versus the Treo that runs with Palm software.

I use the Treo 750, which runs on a Windows operating system;  I gave my husband an iPhone for Christmas and he already loves it.  Although there are a lot of cool features the iPhone has that I like, they are not features I NEED.  LOL  Maybe in another year when I'm eligible for an upgrade, there will be something even cooler out, but for now, I am really happy with my Treo.

Why is the Windows better than the Palm system??? Is it Apple vs. Microsoft???  I have also heard that the iPhone is not CRM friendly

I am absolutely sold on the quality of my Verizon service. I use the LG nV2 and find the full keyboard is awesome!

Windows mobile is open source, so you can download aps from any vendor.  With Apple, you have to go through their store, buy their aps (and pay what they want you to pay), and are limited to what you can do. If you like to full keyboard, try the G1, has full keyboard, touch screen, and trackball! If you want to go hardcore, check out the Wing, it has it all, but it is a little pricey.

Oh, and Wal Mart has the G1 for 149.99 which is $30 less than elsewhere! Gotta love it

Severl stories in the paper and on the news; however they reported it was only about $2 less then purchasing from Apple or AT&T.

I still don't understand how they can get away with fixing prices?  Well, I do understand, but where is Ralph Nader on this?  Oh right, working on his next bid for President.  Same thing with the WII and PS3. Prices never vary by more than a dollar or two.
